TRILOGY at The Point Sunderland
Trilogy bring rock, glam, indie and punk to The Point Sunderland on Friday 27 November. Event starts 7pm; band live 8:45pm. Free entry.
Trilogy close out The Point Sunderland’s Friday Live Lounge run for November with a set that moves across rock, glam, indie and punk. That combination gives the band plenty of room to change pace, from bigger glam hooks into sharper punk material and more modern indie songs.
Table Of Content
This is not a one-band tribute or a straight classic-rock night. The appeal is hearing several guitar-driven styles handled by the same live act without the evening becoming tied to one decade.
Trilogy at The Point Sunderland
The event starts at 7pm, with Happy Hour running from 7pm to 8pm. Trilogy are live on stage at 8:45pm and entry is free. That follows the familiar Live Lounge rhythm, giving the room time to fill before the band begins.
Glam and punk can sit at opposite ends of the spectrum, which should make the set more interesting than a standard covers list. One side brings bigger choruses and a sense of theatre, while the other relies on pace and directness. Indie gives the band a third route when it wants to step away from both.
Four guitar styles in one set
For people who want variety but still prefer a guitar-led night, Trilogy look like a strong fit. The styles are different enough to create contrast, but they share enough live energy to make sense together in the same room.
